We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. • Perform system safety engineering tasks of a technically challenging nature which demonstrate knowledge of system safety engineering fundamentals
• Prepare and review system safety engineering documentation such as System Safety Program Plans, Hazard Analysis Reports, Safety Assessment Reports, Hazard Logs, Hazardous Material Registers and Safety Case Reports in accordance with program milestones
• Perform system safety analysis tasks in accordance with Australian WHS legislation aligned to the program system safety standards and regulator requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel within the team, leading key initiatives that drive a system safety culture.
