REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experence within Health and safety.
  • NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (or equivalent).
  • IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety regulations.
  • Experience with Fire management and risk assessment.
  • Proven experience of working in a food production environment.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience with ISO 45001, 14001, 5001 standards.
  • Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations certified.
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Foster a strong health and safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to health and safety practices.
  • Manage the health and safety plan and conduct regular audits.
  • Review and update safe systems of work and risk assessments.
  • Ensure safe equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and health and safety issues.
  • Manage contractor compliance and environmental regulations.
  • Lead the design and implementation of environmental management systems.
