Specifically, we seek:

  • Solid experience within a safety, health & wellbeing role.
  • Experiencing in the development and continuous improvement of a WHS Management System.
  • Demonstrated experienced in case management, rehabilitation case management and incident investigations.
  • Experience in conducting and documenting risk assessments.
  • Working knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards relevant to the organisation and industry.
  • Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities:

We are passionate about respecting people by protecting their safety, health and wellbeing. As the Safety Health & Wellbeing Advisor you will build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders to implement initiatives and provide specialist advice and manage a diverse portfolio or cases. In addition to this, you will enjoy variety in your role as you have the opportunity to provide project support to the Health & Wellbeing Manager to deliver outcomes for our rapidly changing business.

  • Providing case management and coaching in a range of safety, health & wellbeing processes including workers compensation, injury & illness management, incident investigation, hazard management and investigation.
  • Supporting the implementation of robust risk management practices through identification and assessment of workplace hazards.
  • Promoting and embedding a proactive safety, health & wellbeing culture across the organisation for the prevention of injuries and illness.
  • Supporting effective development of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) training, communication and consultation mechanisms with our people and their representatives
  • Developing and maintaining contemporary WHS Policy, Procedures and Guidelines.
  • Providing safety, health & wellbeing subject matter expertise for all aspects of organisational safety including high risk tasks and outcomes of incident investigations.
  • Providing effective incident management including co-ordinating and conducting investigations into incidents and near misses.
  • Developing and providing timely and accurate reporting on health, safety and wellbeing performance metrics and benchmarks.
