Zahr Freighters is looking for an experienced and dedicated Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven work experience of at least 3 years as a Safety Officer.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant safety regulations.
Strong ability to identify hazards and implement effective corrective measures.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections of the workplace.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
Maintain and update safety management software and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Provide safety training, communicate safety protocols, and deliver presentations to staff.
Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventative measures.
