Description:

Job purpose: The Safety Sales Specialist role involves a dynamic combination of collaborative efforts and independent initiatives. You will work closely with Key Account Managers, engage with suppliers, and conduct solo sales calls to promote our comprehensive range of safety products and services. This position requires a strategic approach to both hunting for new opportunities and farming existing accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of industrial related outside sales experience
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Certified training a definite asset (confined space entry, fall arrest, respiratory training, fit testing, spill control, flammable storage and handling, emergency shower & eye wash, lockout / tag-out, etc.);

Responsibilities:

  • Develop quality prospects within the TENAQUIP business model, and create expansion strategies to further penetrate existing high-potential accounts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships at all levels within the accounts.
  • Schedule and conduct joint calls with suppliers and Key Account Managers, and perform independent sales calls and surveys as required.
  • Plan and schedule customer seminars and/or other sales support activities necessary to drive sales growth
  • Utilize TENAQUIP’s solution selling programs to further develop existing accounts
  • Maintain detailed, weekly records of all customer interactions and development activities in our CRM system to track progress and identify growth opportunities.
  • Continuously grow product knowledge and sales skill ability
  • Achieve annual sales growth targets
