JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the safety and security operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and surveillance systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the protection of our assets, personnel, and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid in date SIA Door supervisor license
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Proven experience in a security management role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance technologies.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergencies.
  • First aid certification is highly desirable.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, including CCTV.
  • Manage a team of security personnel, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare staff for potential incidents.
  • Monitor security operations through surveillance footage and on-site inspections.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
  • Liaise with site managers to foresee and adaptively plan the next action in the safest manner.
