JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the safety and security operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and surveillance systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the protection of our assets, personnel, and visitors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid in date SIA Door supervisor license
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Proven experience in a security management role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance technologies.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergencies.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Manage a team of security personnel, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of performance.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare staff for potential incidents.
- Monitor security operations through surveillance footage and on-site inspections.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
- Liaise with site managers to foresee and adaptively plan the next action in the safest manner.
