Responsibilities:
The Safety & Security Pre-Sales Designer plays a pivotal role in driving North’s Smart Place’s strategy by designing and proposing security solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. This position requires both technical knowledge of Security Systems such as CCTV & Access Control and a strong ability to communicate and understand client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a creative approach to problem-solving, and the ability to craft bespoke solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Electronic Engineering, Security Systems, Information Technology or manufacturer systems.
- Proven experience in security system design, sales, or technical support, preferably in a pre-sales environment.
- Strong understanding of CCTV & Access Control technologies, including IP and analogue systems, VMS software, networks and connectivity solutions.
- Experience in high-end Enterprise systems 5 years - Genetec, Milestone, Lenel certification an advantage, with strong networking skills with a CCNA desirable. Able to design high and low level technical documentation and convey this to the end user. knowledge of IT systems such as Windows Server, Domains, Mapping systems Linux working knowledge also highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Driven, self-motivated individual with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with potential clients to understand their security needs, site-specific challenges, and objectives for Security installation.
System Design: Utilise technical knowledge to design comprehensive, customized security solutions that address client requirements and integrate seamlessly into their existing infrastructure.
Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals that include system designs, product specifications, installation plans, and cost estimates.
Presentations: Conduct presentations for clients to demonstrate the features and benefits of the proposed security solutions, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align system designs with overall sales strategies and client expectations.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security technology, trends, and best practices to ensure the company offers innovative and competitive solutions.
Documentation: Ensure all pre-sales documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and professionally presented.
