WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our growing Health & Safety team. As a Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator you will assist the business in its undertaking and offer practical advice on the measures which need to be undertaken to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon the business due to any statutory provisions laid down for the health and safety of employees, contractors, visitors or any persons who may be affected by the business acts or omissions.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE TO SUCCEED AS A TRANSPORT COORDINATOR WILL INCLUDE:

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the implementation, monitoring, and reviewing of Health & Safety & well-being strategies, procedures, risk assessments, site safety plan, and safe working practices in line with the Global Safety Framework.
- Promoting a positive Health & Safety & well-being culture and assist to improve Health & Safety performance.
- Action any safety concerns raised by employees, managers, safety representatives, visitors, contractors, or members of the public.
- Assisting management and development of the Global Safety Framework.
- Assisting in the identification of training needs for employees and assist with the delivery of training as required.
- Supporting the carrying out and / or review of risk assessments where required.
- Carrying out workplace inspections in order to proactively identify where Health & Safety may be improved.
- Supporting managers with investigations and facilitate necessary steps to prevent reoccurrences.
- Assisting with preparation of Health & Safety reports and statistical performance data as required.
- Keeping up to date with current Health & Safety legislation.
- Developing and maintain effective working relationships with all departments at all levels.
- Taking an active role in any company projects or initiatives which will improve wellbeing & Health & Safety.
- Actively engage with the factory floor to facilitate communications.
- Attending and chair safety meetings as required.
