Job Description

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience of IT sales
  • Experience of selling and business development in the Health market
  • Experience of engagement and with senior management teams and purchasing decision makers
  • Experience in selling Health solutions to clients, particularly interest in contracts with TUPE included or screening contracts
  • Broad knowledge of the IS/ IT services industry
  • Excellent communication and team working skills, comfortable working with senior management level both externally and internally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a variety of influencing styles to enable effective closure of deals
  • Builds sustainable relationships with key decision makers with the Health market.
  • Shows a desire to take the initiative, moving opportunities forward to achieve targets.
  • Demonstrates an ability to understand and define requirements and work with colleagues to translate these into portfolio solutions.
  • Evaluates sales options efficiently and allocates resources and time appropriately
  • Demonstrates a strategic focus – ability to turn suspects into prospects and complete sales order closure
  • Ability to Strategically develop Health client accounts

Responsibilities:

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The role will be focussed on developing a set of strategic relationships at a senior level in Health, typically NHS, accounts that will enable sales to be made into the Health market particularly the Screening market, DESP type contracts.
  • The relationship engagement level should be Commissioners, Senior Executive and CEO or similar.
  • The AM will be responsible for liaison with other sales, pre sales and delivery staff within NEC to deliver revenue and develop the Account for NEC. The AM will be responsible for the target revenue associated with their territory
  • The AM will be responsible for ensuring CRM is maintained at all times for their accounts commensurate with the guidelines issued

DUTIES

  • Develop current relationships with existing customers and create relationships with the Commissioners, Senior Management/Board and CEO
  • Generate opportunities for new or extended product sales, swap-outs, service, and solution development into assigned accounts
  • Work with manufacturers and partners to sell 3rd party products into client base maintaining excellent relationships to benefit NEC
  • Ensure achievement of sales against own target.
  • Develop and maintain a Pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that will deliver targeted revenue for your territory and contribute to the group sales number for the overall Team
  • Develop Strategic opportunities and bids in your accounts
  • Engage with the customer to ensure expectations are being met both pre and post sale
  • Build long term relationships with assigned clients. At a strategic & influencing level
  • Track projects in your sites through to satisfactory completion.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure we are able to deliver our promises.
  • Understand and ensure adherence to corporate policy, processes, procedures and guidelines.
  • Contribute to a team oriented, collaborative culture and way of working that enhances NEC performance as a Company
  • Attend and participate in meetings with internal and external partners as required
  • Attend training courses as directed by line manager
  • Become a valued member of the Team through efficient working practices and self development.
  • Ensure all pre sales, bid and project procedures are adhered to
  • Deliver quality bids in conjunction with the bid team and pre sales resources
  • Assist in the resolution of Debts when requested by Sales Director/Manager
  • Ensure customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensure delivery of balanced sales and services revenues in line with sales targets.
  • Achieve sales activities in line with KPIs set as part of the review process
  • Maintaining awareness of changes in that account
