Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join our client in dynamic team in the trading industry, specializing in metals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Order Management: Preparing and processing orders by issuing job orders to vendors and monitoring the production schedule to ensure timely delivery.
  • Letter of Credit Negotiation: Managing and negotiating Letters of Credit, a key aspect of our trade processes.
  • Shipping Coordination: Coordinating shipping arrangements and preparing essential documents for shipments, such as invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, and job orders, to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Financial Monitoring: Monitoring payments from customers and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Additional tasks or responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • No prior experience is required; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of incoterms, contract administration, and international trade administration (e.g., import/export documentation) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Letters of Credit is a plus, but candidates without experience can be trained.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
