Graham Tyson is a family run business supplying packaging for the dairy, ice-cream, food and industrial markets. In 2007 we became part of the family owned Taylor Davis Group, one of the UK leading distributors of metal and plastic containers. Job Summary
To generate and process all company sales enquires and orders. To liaise with the Area Sales Managers to develop & maintain business & customer relationships.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
1. Processing of customer enquiries, sales orders / pro-forma invoices, sending acknowledgements and liaising with customers regarding products and delivery.
2. Raise quotations and sample requests following up where necessary and keeping computerised notes
3. Arranging customer collections from warehouses
4. Raising customer complaint tickets and collection notes
5. Sales support for the Area Sales Managers
6. Take credit card payments
7. Cover other Sales Support roles during periods of holiday and sickness
8. Have good working practice and adhere to paperwork systems to maintain ISO 9001 quality & Health and Safety standards and ensure correct implementation
9. Cultivate good working relationships with other departmental personnel to promote the efficient working of the business
10. To perform any reasonable request from the management team
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Previous Sales experience preferred
Must be computer literate
Must have a pleasant outgoing personality
Able to communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
Must be self-motivated
