The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel, Sydney’s oldest, continually licensed hotel and craft brewery, makers of fine 100% natural ales, server of delicious fare and purveyor of boutique Australian and International wines.
We are currently looking for a salesperson passionate about craft beer with strong selling and outstanding relationship skills to help spread the word about our great ales through keg and packaged beer sales. The role will also include all facets of our establishment and its national operation with cross department development for a true insight and influence across all facets of our sales a distribution operations.
About you:
- Superior knowledge of the Australian craft beer and cider market and desire to learn about our boutique beer and wine lines.
- Experience in leading a sales team, an advantage if this experience is specifically supporting introduction and growth of liquor lines in restaurants, bars, hotels or retail.
- Experienced in managing a budget.
- Previously responsible for volume, distribution and execution of a market strategy.
- A team player willing to work closely with all other departments within the company.
- Enthusiasm, competitive nature and passion for the hospitality and /or the craft/boutique manufacturing industry.
- Ability to travel to meet customers, with ad hoc interstate travel required.
- Willingness and eagerness to assist with delivering kegs and cartons, along with other ad hoc duties as required while our national delivery system is in development.
- Experience or enthusiasm to assist in the development of the packaged sales strategy / marketing / POS and all other aspects of the sales team.
