Delta Dental of Arizona, the state’s #1 dental and vision insurance company, is seeking a Sales Analyst with strong critical thinking and organizational skills to join our Commercial Growth team based out of our Scottsdale, AZ office.

Our Sales Analysts provide a high-level of support to the entire Commercial Growth department. The successful candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects, people, and tasks in a fast-paced environment, under deadlines and demands, with the flexibility to adapt to changes in priorities and schedules.
The objective of this role is to be aligned with supporting new business sales goals and existing business retention goals. The starting hourly pay for this position is from $21.82 - $32.25.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 0-2 years’ data entry and analytics; insurance experience preferred; sales support experience a plus
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivation, as well as the ability to work in a team environment
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Insurance license within the first six months in the rol

Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties
- Engage in problem solving to ensure the match between customers’ core needs and Delta Dental capabilities, through an intimate understanding of the producers’ and customers’ current and future plans, culture, and philosophy.
- Answer and respond to phone inquiries from service/sales staff, brokers, groups, and members.
- Research problems and work with other departments to find a resolution.
- Review, send, and track renewals on a monthly basis; maintain and track terminations and reason for termination.
- Prepare and sending amendment letters, contracts, and other documents requested by brokers or groups in coordination with underwriting.
- Prepare bid responses by answering questions, preparing binders, and electronic presentations as requested. Must be able to meet bid deadlines and prioritize appropriately. Work with other departments to obtain answers to questions. Prepare final bid in a clean and professional representation.
- Prepare Salesforce forms and documentation for renewals, new business, contract changes, eligibility changes, benefit changes, etc.
- Knowledge of Quest Analytic software for preparing simple to complex network analysis reporting.
- Update DeltaUSA marketing database as required by DDPA policies and procedures.
Salesforce Administration
- Daily administration and support of Delta Dental of Arizona’s database including but not limited to maintain Salesforce data related to objects, forms, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations.
- Work with management and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and triggers.
- Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
- Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including IT and outside consultants/vendors/developers as needed.
- Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements.
- Provide application users with technical support.
