Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Sales Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for assisting both the sales and sales support teams, ensuring that they run smoothly on a daily basis while also providing useful information and insights to the company as a whole.
This role will give you the opportunity to learn about all aspects of our sales business as well as other departments at Polestar UK, including planning and ordering (POD), customer service, marketing, and aftersales.
This is an Intern opportunity for up to 12 month period, to be located at Bicester.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your primary responsibilities will be to generate and analyse reports to help the management team manage workload, determine resource requirements, and guide sales campaigns and volume projections.
- Sales Team Support: Provide daily operational support to the sales and sales support teams to ensure seamless functionality and address any system or process-related challenges.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Create detailed reports about sales performance, customer trends, and campaign effectiveness. Use these insights to suggest strategies and improvements to the management team.
- Sales Forecasting & Projections: Work closely with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts and volume projections across all sales channels.
- Campaign & Offer Evaluation: Analyse the impact of sales campaigns and offers, providing actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- System Management: Use Salesforce and other CRM systems to track, manage, and report on sales activities while maintaining data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments, such as POD, marketing and finance, to ensure alignment and consistency in sales reporting and forecasting.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about the automotive industry, and is looking to contribute to a forward-thinking, dynamic company. You will ideally be familiar with working across multiple systems, and capable of interpreting and clearly presenting data to various company stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
