Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Vertiv, a datacenter cooling & power infrastructure company headquartered in Westerville, OH, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Analyst, Strategy to drive insights, reporting, and sales strategies for our top 25 customer accounts. This new position reports to the Strategy Director, Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) and will work to enhance reporting capabilities, gather market insights, and coordinate deliverables for Executive leadership. This role will help Vertiv’s Sales team navigate the beginning stages of unprecedented growth in the datacenter industry driven by immense demand for AI capabilities around the world .

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Business, Finance, or Engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of data analytics, strategy, and/or financial modeling experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts.
  • Ability to craft/design visualizations (charts, tables, slides, spreadsheet templates) that can be easily consumed by leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data from various sources.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for learning and a desire to make an impact.
  • Comfortable with providing answers/deliverables where parts of the results needed are unknown or difficult to quantify.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Position based in our Westerville, OH office

Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly orders forecasting and commentary with the Sales Directors
  • Prepare presentations and visuals to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of strategic initiatives and business plans to capitalize on identified opportunities and address challenges.
  • Interact with sales leaders/counterparts globally to collect and understand their results/forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, provide support, and ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Sales Operations/IT teams to drive improved reporting capabilities and data accuracy within Power BIConduct research and analysis on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
