THE ROLE
This is a unique opportunity to join Bristol University Press (BUP) as part of our digital sales team. As an international publisher of social science books and journals, BUP has seen impressive sales growth since it was formed in 2016 and was awarded the 2024 Independent Professional and Academic Publisher of the Year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident Sales and Customer Services Coordinator to provide sales and customer support to the Books and Journals Division. The role will assist in delivering institutional sales campaigns and market research. This role reports directly into the Institutional Key Account Manager
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Bristol University Press launched its eBook and Journal platform Bristol University Press Digital (BUPD) in January 2022. BUPD is key to the growth in our digital sales and this role will be instrumental in increasing our sales outreach and maintaining our high level of customer service.
You will be busy supporting the sales team with ongoing eBook and journals customer service queries and updating sales, customer and marketing collateral, such as FAQs documentation and user guides.
You will be the first point of contact for sales and customer queries, and you will be responsible for handling day-to-day sales-related enquiries from institutions, libraries, sales representatives, agents and authors.
There are many opportunities in the role to bring creative ideas to build sales and marketing campaign plans and help develop the BUP brand across international institutions.
