Compensation range: $80-$100k annually

Since 2014, we’ve been the leaders of Indigenous digital voting technology, supporting election events for First Nations and Métis communities throughout Canada. In 2021 we took on Status Card Renewal, providing a high customer satisfaction experience with our technology. Now we’re modernizing payment and identity solutions, designed with culturally-appropriate and collaborative methods. And we won’t stop there.
The Role: Sales & Growth Lead
We are seeking a Sales & Growth Lead to drive OneFeather’s sustainable growth while prioritizing Indigenous community impact. This role combines strategic sales leadership with deep commitment to Indigenous values and protocols. You will build and lead high-performing sales teams while developing lasting relationships with Indigenous Nations, government bodies, and key stakeholders across sectors.
What you’ll do:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that respect Indigenous values and protocols
- Build and lead high-performing sales teams
- Establish metrics that measure both business impact and community value
- Create sales processes and tools that support efficient, culturally-appropriate sales cycles
- Advise on evolving profit models that align with our mission and values
Relationship Development and Partnerships:
- Build and nurture lasting relationships with Indigenous Nations, government bodies, and key stakeholders
- Understand unique needs and governance structures of different stakeholders
- Collaborate with department leads on strategic partnerships
- Maintain trust through transparent, respectful engagement
- Ensure strong alignment between stakeholder needs and OneFeather’s solutions
- Represent OneFeather’s mission and values in all interactions
Revenue Growth and Market Expansion:
- Identify new market opportunities that align with our mission
- Develop comprehensive territory plans that respect Indigenous jurisdictions
- Create growth strategies for current and future offerings
- Shape go-to-market approaches for diverse stakeholders
- Achieve growth targets while maintaining focus on meaningful outcomes for Nations and peoples
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations, or governments
- Strong understanding of Indigenous protocols and governance structures
- Background in technology or SaaS sales preferred
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships
- Track record of achieving significant revenue growth targets
Skills & Abilities
- Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities
- Excellence in relationship building and stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of or willingness to learn Indigenous perspectives and protocols
- Ability to balance business objectives with community impact
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with CRM systems and sales operations
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
