Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Boxpark Liverpool is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our commercial strategy and operations. This role involves overseeing all commercial activities, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our vibrant and innovative venue. The Manager will work closely with senior leadership in Head Office, as well as the site General Manager, to develop and implement strategies that ensure Boxpark Liverpool’s commercial success.
EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, preferably within the retail, hospitality, or events sectors.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies and driving revenue growth.
Skills:
Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work both independently andv collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with venue or event management.
Familiarity with the Liverpool market and local business landscape.
Certification in commercial management or related areas.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to maximize revenue and profitability.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends specific to Liverpool’s vibrant market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders.
Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, partners, and tenants to ensure favourable terms and compliance.
Foster a high-performance culture and ensure team alignment with Boxpark Liverpool’s commercial objectives.
Drive sales efforts and business development initiatives to attract new tenants and partnerships.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
Over see the planning and execution of events to maximize revenue and enhance Boxpark Liverpool’s brand.
Ensure that Boxpark contributing to the Liverpool city community and ensuring that the site hosts community events which drive footfall and awareness to the site.
Ensure the venue is utilized to its full potential, attracting diverse and high-profile events as well as corporate bookings to the venue.
Provide regular reports and analysis to senior leadership on performance.
