Responsibilities:

  • Grow sod, seed, fertilizer and other sales by identifying and capturing new business throughout the Ottawa-Montreal territory
  • Qualify prospective clients and set program and pricing expectations that meet strategic and budgetary targets
  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities with existing clients.
  • Develop, manage and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish revenue and margin goals.
  • Source and meet with prospects and take pride in earning their trust and their business.
  • Create and maintain a sales plan to ensure sales efforts are on track relative to plan
  • Run lunch and learns with market influencers to build awareness in our markets.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Think outside the box when building lead lists – use various strategies to ensure the hopper is always full.
  • Perform site visits to support brand, channel, merchandising and sell-through activities.

  • Perform other duties as required.
