SALES ASSOCIATE - CARTOLINA MADISON AVE FLAGSHIP (NYC)
Cartolina is seeking a Sales Associate to join our client experience team, based at the flagship store located on Madison Ave on the Upper East Side of New York City. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the Cartolina brand who can offer an exceptional and personalized luxury retail experience in-store.
This position will be responsible for handling a variety of front-facing duties, including interacting with clients in- store, as well as over email and phone. The ideal candidate will use equal parts empathy and professionalism to interact with clients in a thoughtful, personal, and detail-oriented manner.
Responsibilities will range from supporting day-to-day store operations to meeting sales goals and client-telling.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Clienteling Expertise: Proven ability to build and maintain a client base. Must be comfortable reaching out to clients consistently through email, text, or phone calls to maintain ongoing relationships and generate revenue.
- Luxury Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in luxury retail, must be friendly, service-oriented, and able to have elevated conversations with high-end clientele.
- Styling Knowledge: Ability to offer expert styling advice and understand the fit, fabric, and trends relevant to our collection.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively communicating with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional departments.
- Sales-Driven: Self-motivated to exceed sales goals. A proactive approach to customer outreach and follow-up is key.
- Detail-oriented & Organized: Excellent at managing customer information and keeping detailed records of interactions and follow-up tasks.
- Adaptability & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Flexible to adapt to store needs and a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Skills: Familiarity with Shopify is a huge plus. Must be comfortable with computer skills and technology systems to manage sales and client data.
- Reliable and Responsible: Must be able to work independently and within a team with flexibility working weekends and holidays
