JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an individual with customer service and sales experience, who is a highly motivated self-starter with a proven ability to work independently as well as within a team.
In this role, you will interact with customers entering and exiting the showroom with a high level of professionalism while responding to inquiries in a timely manner. Along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you are passionate about learning new systems, helping others, have a positive attitude, and effectively set priorities to meet deadlines and sales targets.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years’ experience in customer service, retail showroom, or office environment
  • 1+ years’ experience in a sales role

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma
  • Diploma or Certificate in Residential Interiors or Related Experience (not required)
    Please Note: Ability to work Saturdays from 10am to 5pm is a requirement for this position.

    Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact, greeting and interacting with customers entering/exiting the showroom
  • Helping customers in the showroom, answering phones, and assisting with appointments as needed
  • Assisting with service coordination
  • Data entry and scheduling
  • Maintaining showroom appearance, completing daily opening and closing tasks
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to follow up with customers both by phone and email
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem solve and be attentive to details
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Assist other areas as required
  • Self-motivated; work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Produce reports and meet targets
  • Help clients make appropriate selections
