Launch Your Sales Career with Corby Spirits & Wine – One-Year Contract with One-Year Renewal Option
Are you passionate about customer relationships, interested in sales, and ready to develop your skills with a dynamic team? Corby Spirits & Wine is looking for a driven Sales position on a one-year contract, with an option to renew, as we continue to grow in Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe area. This role offers a competitive salary of $50,000, a $555 monthly car allowance & gas card, , and 4% vacation pay, creating a unique opportunity to make an impact in sales. Ideally the candidate for this territory will live in Burlington to Hamilton area.
Candidates must have full time use of vehicle and valid Ontario drivers license.
Position Summary
As a Sales Associate, supporting the Golden Horseshoe territory/region (from Oakville to Niagara), you’ll work closely with our District Manager to support retail accounts and promote Corby’s portfolio in liquor stores, grocery outlets, and agency locations. This role is ideal for candidates in Hamilton or Burlington looking to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Relationships:
- Cultivate positive relationships within our accounts through a regular call cycle, providing support and excellent service
- Collaborate for Success:
- Partner with your District Manager to support high-volume accounts, contributing to our shared monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Bring Promotions to Life:
- Implement engaging promotions, including displays, value-add items, gift boxes, and rebates to boost Corby’s brand visibility
- Manage Inventory:
- Communicate inventory needs promptly, collaborating with store staff to ensure our products are consistently available
- Drive Sales Objectives:
- Assist with setting and tracking sales goals using Corby’s CRM tools, gaining valuable strategic planning experience
- Learn from Experts:
- Develop your skills with Corby’s structured approach to sales, equipping you with techniques and insights to succeed in any sales role
- Report Competitor Insights:
- Share timely insights on competitor activities, keeping our team informed and competitive
- Administrative Excellence:
- Complete essential tasks with accuracy and timeliness to support efficient operations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience:
- Strong customer service or sales experience is essential; prior industry experience is beneficial but not required
- Skills:
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated approach
- Team-Oriented:
- A collaborative, positive mindset, contributing to a diverse team environment
- Local Travel:
- A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and comfort with local travel within the Golden Horseshoe
- Education:
- A university degree or equivalent experience
