Description:

The work mode arrangement for the position is full-time on site.

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting advisors and branch personnel in the servicing of current clients and the development of new clients. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude to fill this position. To be successful, the Sales Associate must be attentive and accurate. They should be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. The Sales Associate must be comfortable with mutual fund, segregated fund, GIC, and Insurance products, confident with technology, and strong verbal and written communication. Most importantly, somebody who is willing to go the extra mile for the company and the client, taking pride in one’s work. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of client inquiries, coordinating responses with other departments as necessary.
  • Prepare documentation for investment transactions such as Purchase, Redemption, Switch, and Transfers for mutual fund, segregated fund, and GIC products.
  • Responsible for the completion of mutual fund, segregated Fund, and GIC processing by branch cut-off time.
  • New business support for insurance, including Life, DI, and CI.
  • In force policy administration. Obtain in-force insurance policy information and statements as needed by advisors and clients.
  • Conduct a regular review of pending activity and outstanding business and escalate as required.
  • Prioritize and organize workflow. Maintain and review documents for accuracy.
  • Work in conjunction with compliance department to ensure compliance regulations are followed.

What you bring to the table

  • High school diplomas in a related field
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Hold or working towards your CIFC / LLQP license
  • Strong knowledge of Investments products required.
  • Strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office
