Sales Associates & Senior Sales Associates for Royal Copenhagen Flagship Store
We are renovating our historical Flagship store at Amagertorv in Copenhagen and will re-open a state-of-the-art store and experience center in November, 2024. In order to create an exceptional customer experience, we are looking for full-time sales associates & senior sales associate with retail experience, preferably from a luxury or design-focused environment.

Are you captivated by the elegance of Danish porcelain and the beauty of Scandinavian design? We are seeking passionate and customer-oriented individuals to join our team. As a brand ambassador for Royal Copenhagen, renowned for its exquisite, handcrafted porcelain and timeless tableware, you will play a pivotal role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our valued customers.
You will be responsible for showcasing and promoting our exclusive range of premium Danish design products. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to create memorable shopping experiences. Your expertise in the Royal Copenhagen brand and product line will enable you to effectively communicate the craftsmanship, quality, and unique stories behind each piece.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers warmly and professionally, providing personalized assistance and expert product knowledge.
  • Showcase the artistry and craftsmanship behind Royal Copenhagen’s porcelain collections, educating customers about the unique designs and rich heritage.
  • Maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring that product displays are beautifully presented and enticing.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system.
  • Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations and build lasting relationships.
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the store’s overall success.
  • You will play a pivotal role in our store, using the art of storytelling to engage customers, ignite their imagination, and drive sales

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years retail or customer service experience, preferably in a luxury or design-focused environment.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and appreciation for Royal Copenhagen’s craftsmanship and heritage.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Able to apply luxury behavior and luxury standards to all activities in the store
  • Exceptional sales mindedness with motivation by sales and performance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to maintain an inviting store environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
  • A well groomed and well mannered fast learner
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English and Danish or another Scandinavian language
