For our dedicated Sales team in our BU Germany we are looking for a Sales Associate (m/f/d), full time with an unlimited contract, for either our location in Erlangen or Berlin, in a hybrid working model (2-3 times a week in the office).
In this role you take ownership of giving customers a great first impression of us! Besides that you are driving change in the sales organization by using data analysis and strive for improvement. Being adaptive to our customer’s needs will be as important as supporting our team priorities.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Successfully completed studies with initial experience in sales as part of an internship or working student programme
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English (in person and virtually)
  • A great analytical eye and attention to detail paired with interest in technology and its applications
  • The adaptability to learn from what works and doesn’t and course-correct quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English (in person and virtually)
  • Comfort with the freedom of working collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Nice to have: Some knowledge and interest in the energy storage competitive landscape
  • Nice to have: Some relevant battery-energy storge experience with the desire to quickly learn a lot more

Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity origination and filtering – Assessing and prioritizing sales opportunities using strategic selling criteria
  • Support data driven decision making via Salesforce and other reporting/CRM tools
  • Technical and commercial support during sales process – Become a subject matter expert across all elements of Fluence’s technology, able to answer a range of technical queries on our hardware, software, and services offerings
  • Bid preparation – Coordinate the development of full proposals and tender responses to customers (with support from specialist Fluence groups) to a high standard
  • Stakeholder management – Regular customer engagement
  • Building lasting rapport and client relationships for driving long term business
