Responsibilities:

WHY WE’RE HIRING FOR THIS ROLE:

We’re looking for a passionate sales person to join our SME Sales Team for South Africa. As a Sales Associate you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for our Small & Medium Enterprise segment. You must be comfortable sending lots of emails and taking dozens of calls a a day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing SME sales. The role requires someone who thrives at understanding the technical needs of our merchants and building strategies and tactics to drive growth, adoption, and advocacy for Peach Payments.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO:

  • Support the SME team in their sales activities including lead qualification, quoting, lead development and closing
  • Manage team KPI reporting and business analyst activities to optimise sales efficiency
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Own a book of business and meet sales targets
  • Define and execute new sales strategies to effectively showcase Peach Payments
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
  • Support sales team members with training and skill development
  • Engage with Product, Marketing and Operations teams to support customer research and support
