Description:

A Sales/Catering Asst. Manager is a professional who is responsible for promoting and selling catering services to potential clients, such as businesses, organizations, and individuals, in order to generate revenue for a catering company or a hotel with catering facilities. This role involves a combination of sales, marketing, and customer service skills to attract clients and ensure successful events. Here are some key responsibilities and skills associated with the role of a Catering Sales Executive:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively communicate the value of catering services and close deals.
  2. Ability to establish and maintain a professional network of contacts within the hospitality and event planning industry.
  3. Effective time management and organization to handle multiple leads, proposals, and events simultaneously.
  4. Develop creative and unique catering proposals that align with clients’ preferences and event themes.
  5. Thoroughly understand client requirements and ensure all event details are accurate and well-coordinated.
  6. Deep understanding of the catering company’s menus, services, and capabilities to address client inquiries.
  7. Quick thinking and adaptability to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the sales process or events.
  8. Worked in F&B, and in similar role for at least 5 years in Dubai.
  9. Familiarity with sales and CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office suite for proposal creation and communication.
  10. Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  11. Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules and event needs.
  12. UAE Driving License must.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Responsibilities:

  1. Generating Leads: Identify and generate leads through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, referrals, and cold calling.
  2. Client Engagement: Interact with potential clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Tailor catering solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Proposal Development: Create customized proposals outlining catering packages, menu options, pricing, and additional services based on the client’s event specifications.
  4. Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure business while ensuring profitability for the catering company.
  5. Event Planning: Collaborate with the catering team to plan and coordinate the logistics of events, including menu selection, setup, staffing, and equipment rental.
  6. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
  7. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  8. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
  9. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and during events, ensuring client satisfaction.
  10. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details for reporting purposes.
