The sales coach builds the bridge between Sales Management and business performance. Together with the training team, they work on developing the sales agents so targets and KPIs are consistently met. The sales coach is responsible for maximizing the investment we make in terms of training BDS teams.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

  • Responsible for the individual development of sales agents
  • Supervises calls and mentors during live calls or nesting.
  • Walks the floor and is available for questions, support and drives engagement.
  • Identifies training / coaching needs through sales call evaluations and engagement.
  • Offers one-on-one coaching and training on sales skills and techniques for all skill levels.
  • Sets individual learning objectives for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluates employee performance pre- and post-training.
  • Collaborates with Sales Managers and discusses training needs / learning plans / KPI setting.
  • Monitors agents on compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Helps conduct sales orientation for new Business Development Specialists (BDS)
  • Provides input for BDS training in sales techniques and consultative selling.
  • Helps plan and implement a comprehensive BDS training program.
  • Helps develop training materials, scripts, and evaluations.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

  • Must be familiar with the various stages of the sales cycle, understand and have working knowledge of sales frameworks / sales methodologies. Experience of 2 – 3 years in sales
  • Understands how to sell in a fast-paced, high volume, transactional sales process.
  • Ideally has experience in a corporate sales environment.
  • Has experience with coaching techniques and methodologies and understands the difference between the impact and delivery of training, coaching, and mentoring, at least 1 year experience in coaching in sales environment.
  • Must have experience coaching 1 on 1, ideally has worked as a sales coach.
  • Sales Training or coaching certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to adapt coaching methods to different salespeople’s learning styles and needs.
  • Completed at least 2 years of college preferred.
