What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team within the Finance & Business Operations Function. As a key team member of a high-visibility organization, the Sales Compensation Operations Analyst will provide technical and operational assistance in support of Cloudflare’s Global Sales Compensation Program. Working closely with the existing Sales Compensation team and partnering with GTM Finance and Sales Operations, the Sales Compensation Analyst will play an active role in managing and testing the ICM platform, commissions calculations and validations, submission to payroll, and inquiry resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Support accurate and timely distribution of commission payments and statements for the Global Cloudflare Sales Team
  • Drive alignment amongst cross-functional stakeholders and project manage commissions calculation inputs
  • Build consistent practices, documentation and desktop procedures for all commissions processes
  • Participate in ICM User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assisting in identifying and troubleshooting defects
  • Manage and calculate sales commissions for special programs
  • Work directly with the Global Cloudflare Sales Team to assist in timely dispute resolution, leading with empathy and employing a customer-focused approach
  • Ensure SOX compliance, collaborating with business partners and Internal Audit on execution of controls

Experience, desired skills, requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field
  • 3+ years of either Sales Compensation, Commissions, FP&A, Consulting or Sales Operations experience.
  • Experience in a growth technology company is a plus.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and influencing business partners.
  • You are comfortable interfacing with business partners outside of your direct team, and understand the rigor and caliber of deliverables required to work with them.
  • You are a data-driven, truth seeker: analytics and data are your currency for facilitating informed decision making.
  • Firm grasp of the commission administrative process flow, including transaction crediting; incentive calculations; payment file preparation; and issue resolution.
  • Highly proficient in Excel / GoogleSheets, system-based analytical tools
  • Communication: Clear, concise communicator; ability to synthesize complex data or business problems into actionable information to drive results
  • Operations: You seek out efficiency, leveraging tools, automation or other means to scale process and deliver more accurate results
  • Versatility: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, zooming in with good attention to detail while still keeping the big picture in mind
