JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are actively looking to hire a Sales Compensation Business Analyst to join our team! The role of this team is to ensure adherence to the sales commission and compensation rules. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Compensation Execution, you will be part of a team of compensation specialists to ensure that our agents are receiving the correct new business production and commission on a policy level.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Administer and manage the organization’s compensation program ensuring all calculations and compensation are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team including Sales, Finance and Human Resources to establish and maintain effective compensation processing.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s compensation rules and be able to communicate in a clear thorough manner.
- Perform daily audits and analysis of compensation data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
- Provide support and guidance to sales representatives in the event of compensation inquiries.
- Work closely with IT department when a bug, enhancement or optimization is required to ensure its accuracy, functionality, and usability.
- Maintain confidentiality of compensation related information and documents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree/College diploma or certificate in a business-related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel as well as proficiency in Access.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an insurance compensation analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or issues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the upmost professionalism and discretion.
BONUS QUALIFICATION:
- Experience working with compensation management software (SAP Commissions) or similar systems is preferred.
