SALES CONSULTANT - MINING, RUSTENBURG
Company Overview:
Our client is a leading industrial chemical manufacturing firm. They have a vacancy for an experienced B2B Sales Consultant to grow the business in the industrial and mining sectors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Grade 12 or NQF equivalent. Qualification in Sales or Marketing will be advantageous.
- 3-5 years B2B sales experience with proven ability to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken) and presentation skills.
- Result-orientated attitude paired with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
- Knowledge and Experience of technical systems and equipment for the chemical industry will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Hygiene Systems will be beneficial.
- Mining industry background is highly advantageous.
- Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid unendorsed Code 8 Driver License.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare, quotes, presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials.
- Take orders and install technical equipment.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Negotiate and implement price increases.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce over-stock issues.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Follow-up on collection of payment.
- Provide training to clients on products, dilutions, applications and safe handling of products.
