Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, research, identify new business opportunities for assigned regions and segments
  • Qualify sales leads and create a detailed lead profile of the opportunity for the Business Development Manager
  • Coordinate and partner with other sales team members to progress leads and opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build strong relationships with the Business Development Managers and other sales team members
  • Qualify and close leads generated by marketing programs
  • Assist and support in other strategic efforts to create qualified sales opportunities
  • Maintain up to date and accurate information for customer accounts in SalesForce.com, such as contact information, opportunities, account information, logged activities, tasks, and events
  • Monitor current inactive units and lead the process to ensure that the units become activated
  • Develop detailed knowledge of ORBCOMM solutions and product portfolio and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective clients
  • Provide sales pipeline analysis as needed
  • Other sales coordination duties as required
