POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience (1-2 years) in a sales coordination or similar role, preferably in the engineering sector.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Knowledge of technical drawings and specifications is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Sales Support:
• Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure technical accuracy of sales materials.
• Track and follow up on pending proposals and leads with clients.
• Client Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients for pre-sales and post-sales inquiries.
• Address client queries regarding product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Order Management:
• Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain team for timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels relevant to client orders.
• Technical Support:
• Provide basic technical assistance to clients regarding products and services.
• Liaise with the engineering team for advanced technical issues or customization requests.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain and update client databases, sales records, and documentation.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports and forecasts for the management.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with marketing to support promotional activities and campaigns.
