Description:
Your primary responsibility is to drive the Sales Process at Chantry Court, our first Retirement Community, using ‘Prospect Centered Selling’ techniques, and to work with Chantry Court’s operations team to build an effective sales culture. This role is based on site (with allowance for some flexible working) and requires the applicant to engage with prospective residents, and their families, with empathy, understanding, and patience. This job requires high levels of emotional intelligence and resilience.
You report to the Sales and Marketing Director and will need to work closely with Chantry Courts General Manager.
· Build close relationships with prospects and their families
· Drive the community’s occupancy rate by filling sales and rental apartments
· Use and maintain the CRM system to record all sales data
· Conduct Tours of the community
· Perform Home Visits (travel to prospects homes)
· Communicate all sales related activities to the GM and the wider Ops team
· Ensure that best practice guidelines are always followed in line with the Associated Retirement Communities Operators (ARCO) Code
· Managing and helping with the Re-sales process as appropriate
· Work with 3rd parties / Estate Agents
· To engage in Community Outreach work to generate leads
Whilst some sales experience is beneficial this role is focused on people skills, curiosity, and empathy so, direct property sales experience is not a requirement, but is useful. Any background in counseling (of any type) is desirable, but not essential.

· You must be willing to work to flexible timetables (including weekends if required)
· You must have exceptional communication skills and a professional calm demeanor
· You must want to serve and guide prospects

This is a one year fixed contract, but for the right person this is a role that offers the potential to join the team full time and to grow with the company as we build new communities across the UK.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
