REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • Min 3 years’ experience managing Customer Accounts
  • Excellent communication in English and Afrikaans
  • Exceptional business administration and finance acumen
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve successfully
  • Ability to build relationships and manage multiple key accounts
  • Exposed to marketing to increase sales within the business
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Management Team
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients in the event space. Understand their needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction
  • Identifying new business opportunities with key clients
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies
  • Budgets, costing, compile quotations and tenders for projects
  • Develop relationships with future key accounts
  • Addressing and resolving key clients’ enquiries or problems
  • Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams
  • Supervising the account teams assigned to each key client
  • Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met
  • Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts
  • Developing a thorough understanding of key clients’ needs and requirements
  • Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client’s long-term goal
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to enhance their event experiences
