Description:

The primary purpose of a Sales Data Analyst is to provide data-driven insights that enable the sales team and leadership to make informed decisions, optimize performance, and achieve revenue goals. By collecting, analysing, and interpreting sales data, the Sales Data Analyst identifies trends, opportunities, and challenges, contributing to strategic planning and improved operational efficiency.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems, with a preference for experience in construction material sales tracking.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating with cross-functional teams and industry partners.

Responsibilities:

Specific work experience required to fulfil the role:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within a sales-driven organisation, construction materials, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in data visualisation, predictive modelling, and sales forecasting specific to product lines.
  • Proven track record of supporting sales teams in the construction materials industry, or a related industry, with data-driven insights.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving
