Description:

Join Ecolab’s Quick Service Restaurant Team as a Sales Development Manager. Ecolab QSR is the leading global supplier of cleaning and sanitation products, programs, and services to national quick serve restaurants. Known as ‘Your Food Safety Experts’, our mission is to provide a cleaning and sanitation program that helps ensure our customers have clean, food-safe environments while delivering savings to their bottom line. As a Sales Development Manager you will build & grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses to protect their brand, their facilities, and the health and safety of their employees and customers. You will drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills to target quick service restaurants to offer our Ware wash and Water Filtration programs.
We are looking for candidates who reside in the Seattle (WA) or Portland (OR) area. Candidates must also be willing to travel overnight approximately 25% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in foodservice
  • 1+ years of outside sales experience
  • Availability for approximately 25% overnight travel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business to Business sales experience
  • Ability to lead cross-divisional teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales commitments.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully closing major deals with new corporate accounts.
  • Seasoned Negotiator
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and listening skills.
  • Results oriented and entrepreneurial with solid business instincts.
  • Automated Ware wash and/or Water Filtration experience

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales from targeted new product introductions.
  • Maintain and increase sales with current corporate account customers.
  • Represent Ecolab in assigned customer relationships.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive, customer and industry conditions and report them to management.
  • Able to conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
  • Able to lead special projects such as tests in customer locations.
