The Opportunity
“The Sales Development Executive role provides an exciting platform for career development for sales-oriented, ambitious, hungry individuals who have a creative & entrepreneurial flair, along with highly developed communication skills. You’ll play a strategic role in the company’s continued growth by finding and breaking into the next premier customers for FICOs flagship cloud software products. Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment is essential. Previous sales experience is desirable. The ability to develop relationships, drive, and ambition the key skills required.” – Sales Development, Director.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Prospect and contact key decision makers in a focused number of medium and large sized businesses within Financial Services and generate interest in FICO solutions specifically within the Nordics.
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting into Financial Services in the assigned region (Nordics & Benelux).
  • Contact, research, educate and qualify inbound and outbound leads to generate qualified sales opportunities within the Nordic region.
  • Cultivate a strong pipeline by following up, qualify and convert marketing leads into sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Key Account Managers.
  • Effectively and efficiently log all interactions and leads in Salesforce.
  • Interact frequently with assigned territory sales team to ensure they stay engaged.
  • Focus on customer by understanding their industry, business, pain points and challenges and have a consultive approach towards prospects.
  • Develop extensive solution knowledge to provide detailed insight to prospects.
  • Partner with Field Marketing team to provide immediate campaign feedback and input on future campaigns.
  • Identify target messaging and qualification improvements as required for overall sales development program effectiveness.

What We’re Seeking

  • Fluency in Swedish and English with excellent communication skills.
  • Business experience, preferably results oriented or sales environment.
  • Ability to perform individually and as part of a high performing team.
  • High energy, you’re passionate and you enjoy being challenged.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM applications is a plus.
  • Educated to degree standard, or have gained the same level of experience operating in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in a technology company or prospecting/selling into the technology industry.
  • Understanding of broad business dynamics and how large, complex companies operate.
  • Strong capacity to develop relationships quickly over the phone, through email, and social channels.
  • The ability to think strategically, critically, and leverage data in making decisions.
  • Detailed, motivated self- starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business.
  • Experience in Inside Sales, Sales Development, or Business Development is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working within the Benelux region is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within the financial services sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Tools and technology: Salesforce.com, Microsoft is desirable but not essential.
