We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team!
Packetlabs was built by an ethical hacker after seeing vulnerability assessments presented as penetration tests. Our slogan “Ready for more than a VA scan?” drives at the importance of not providing our clients with a false sense of security. We are a passionate team of highly trained, proactive, ethical hackers. We provide expert-level penetration testing services that are thorough and tailored to help foster a safe digital space where everyone has the right to privacy and security. To do so, we only hire individuals with the same drive and passion.
At Packetlabs, we know that a high-performing sales team is the key to sustained, consistent growth. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to uncover and qualify potential clients who could benefit from working with us. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process. They excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up Account Executives for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our services compellingly.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO:

  • Is always learning. Sales continues to evolve, and we’re looking for someone who is aware of their skillset and always looking to improve.
  • Is humble. Egos don’t have a place at Packetlabs.
  • Has a proven sales development track record, with at least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Has a strong understanding of sales metrics (KPIs) and can translate activities to outcomes.
  • Can generate leads and build relationships by finding new potential sales opportunities through outbound activities
  • An excellent communicator who captures the requirements and effectively communicates to the team
  • Passionate about helping companies and organizations protect themselves against cyber attacks
  • Demonstrate energy and a sense of urgency when executing day-to-day responsibilities, and capable of working independently, internally driven to succeed
  • Supportive team player with a strong team-first mentality
  • Committed to ongoing professional development
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and build relationships by finding new potential sales opportunities through outbound activities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account Executives in the next steps
  • Building out target lists to prospect for new potential opportunities in line with our ICP
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation process
  • Working closely and collaboratively with Marketing
  • Keeps the sales pipeline full, conducts daily, measurable sales activity that eventually leads to closed sales
  • Keeping meticulous records as it relates to sales activity, comfortable with technology, CRM, tracking and spreadsheets
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and stay current within a changing market, aware of trends and a variety of tactics
  • Learn, understand and embrace the culture and core values of Packetlabs
