Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE:

The Sales Development Representative will partner with our sales and marketing teams and be expected to deliver a targeted number of qualified leads to senior sales team members each quarter.
A smart, creative, problem-solver will deliver an aligned message that generates leads to help win new logos into our customer base.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop messaging that will garner interest
  • Engage with prospective customers to develop new business relationships, understand the challenges they are trying to address and determine the solution(s) that generate the most value
  • Create new Sales Related Opportunities and working with the Sales Director on co-ordinating their allocation to sales team members, demonstrating how they have been qualified in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Successfully handle and overcome prospect objections, engaging with them by telephone and using all potential social media channels
  • Be motivated to learn and committed to building an understanding of the market, developing sales skills, and learning our technologies and supporting services
  • Ensure efficient lead management through comprehensive use of our CRM, Sales Force.
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with both sales and marketing to generate a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
  • Closely connect to marketing and understand the pricipals of marketing campaigns
  • Learn from our product & portfolio. Know the products & services from SD Worx, the USP’s, our competitors & technolgy roadmap
  • Closely connect to sales: help sales to develop, target and qualify SRO’s, to plan follow-up conversations, to determine real needs of the prospect
  • Customer centric: understands the customer context, can ask smart questions.
