KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Ideally, 1 - 2 years’ experience making outbound calls
  • Experience and comfort working in KPI driven environments
  • Track record in exceeding KPIs and targets
  • Excellent communication skills and confident engaging with new people.
  • Understanding of personal KPI’s and how they feed into sales plans, and exceeding targets
  • CRM experience desired (Salesforce or any other)
  • Highly Desirable - Experience of using Sales Engagement platforms (e.g. Salesloft, Outreach, Groove, etc)
  • Experience of using data platforms for lead sourcing

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our UK Business Development team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business Development Managers to prospect new clients and generate qualified opportunities. As an advisor on sustainability, you’ll assess prospects’ needs and provide tailored solutions. While prior sales experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with limited experience who are eager to learn and grow in a sales-focused role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and deliver sales plans in conjunction with BDMs
  • Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
  • Build and engage with prospecting lists across a variety of different channels including LinkedIn, ZoomInfo and Salesforce
  • Follow up and carry out engagement steps according to each campaign
  • Outbound calls / social media / email and virtual meetings to prospects to qualify them and set up discovery meetings for the BD team
  • Maintain and update Salesforce records in line with agreed standards
  • Collect market data before and during customer outreach to understand prospective customer needs and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team and the wider business
