For this role you will need to have the following:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably within the tendering or B2B sector.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp and assess market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiar with public sector tender processes - desirable.
- Proficient in using CRM software, ideally Salesforce and other sales tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As we expand our reach, we are seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and focus on identifying and pursuing tender opportunities. This is an on site, office based role.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging with tender opportunities. This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make an impact. You will work closely with the Client Development, Business Development and Product teams to ensure that our solutions are positioned to meet the needs of upcoming Tender opportunities.
ABUT THE ROLE?
- Research and identify relevant tender opportunities across various platforms and sectors.
- Analyse tender requirements and assess alignment with our company’s offerings.
- Qualify leads and opportunities to ensure they meet our target criteria.
- Engage with potential clients through outbound communication (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to introduce our solutions and secure interest in our tender proposals.
- Collaborate with the rest of the Tenders team, Client Development, Business Development and Product teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tender opportunities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for tender participation.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on tender activities, pipeline status, and key insights.
