As our business continues to grow, we’re seeking two motivated Sales Development Representatives to join our high-energy Sales team.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of sales or related experience, including outbound calling
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for cannabis accessories
  • Confident, persuasive communicator
  • Organized, self-motivated, and ambitious
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Growth-oriented and open to continuous learning
  • High integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and MS Office is a plus
  • Positive, upbeat attitude

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be a key player in generating interest in WCG’s unique offerings. Your primary responsibility is to convert potential customers into wholesale registrations, setting the stage for our Sales Specialists to close deals. This is an ideal role for someone who is hardworking, driven, and eager to build a solid foundation in sales.
You’ll have the chance to work alongside top-performing team members and learn directly from sales leadership. Experience selling to business owners and purchasers in the cannabis accessories wholesale or distribution channels is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct outbound calls to targeted accounts from a list of vetted prospective customers
  • Create interest and excitement in potential customers, such as smoke shops and dispensaries, and encourage them to register on our website for full product access
  • Manage expectations, handle objections, and build rapport
  • Meet and exceed KPIs, including call targets and qualified wholesale registrations
  • Document all sales activities in HubSpot CRM
  • Participate actively in daily sales meetings and training sessions
  • Build skills to prepare for potential promotion to a full sales-closing role
