Job Description
You will guide the EMEA Cubic Sales Specialist Team selling, from Opportunity Detection and Development (Need, Concept, Pre-Feed, Feed and Bank) to Conversion (Pre-engineering. Engineering, Procurement, Bid and Order acquisition). We are looking for a leader in a sales team of solution outcome based consultative sales talents, funnel management and helping the team building complex sales pursuits (from qualification to order closure) and sponsoring and growing executive level engagement/consulting. Driving long-term partnership is necessary . You will complement, sustain and expand into Large Strategic and Enterprise accounts, collaboration and agreement on the Geographical team, cross, portfolio domain experts, and strategic partners to Rockwell Automation. Global collaboration, win strategy and sales discipline, market access and Partners and strategy planning will be needed. You will report to the Regional VP Strategic Accounts and manage 10 direct reports and approx. 70 employees.

Main responsibilities

  • Achieve Rockwell Automation Cubic sales targets and meet business plans for the region using a discipline sales process within targeted accounts.
  • Directly responsible for meeting quota by supporting your team on funnel creation, opportunity qualification to negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixes Rockwell Automation sales teams.
  • Manage an accurate sales forecast and pipeline of Cubic opportunities.
  • Support your team in the collaboration with BU dept to finalize the Scope of Supply and the related Contract Requirements for proposals.
  • Align with Geographical Leadership to use EU ACM selling resources for target opportunity identification and access. Guide accountability and Sales Discipline, by Funnel and Opportunity review, implementing recovery plans where needed.
  • Provide formal regular status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary information. Monitor & report revenue and pipeline results weekly by CRM tool for assigned Markets or Geographies to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Understand RA portfolio offering to create demand, develop complex sales, close opportunities into revenue, and work within all vertical industries (e.g Oil and Gas, Mining, Life Sciences, Heavy Industries, Food and Beverage, Chemical)
  • Demonstrate and build sales and business management processes, (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Funnel Reviews, Target Account Progression, New Customer Generation, Financial Forecasting, Proposal Generation/Revenue Target Review)
  • Responsible for competency development of territory sales teams, limited authorized distributor sales teams, and customers through conducting regular learning sessions, participate in/coordinate Rockwell Automation lead seminars and trade shows.
  • Communicate market data to produce growth strategies, target account planning, which includes understanding of competitive landscapes, trends, main wins/losses and service development needs to the BU product management teams.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science, Electrical or Industrial Engineering,
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven sales management experience (as People Manager) in consultative sales, experience meeting sales goals.
  • Track records of successes proving business and financial experience, quantifying return on investment, Capital planning, Operational Budget management
  • 10 years or more of Automation, Engineering Services or Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Capable in leading and facilitating win strategy processes.
  • Experience and demonstrated track record in developing people, elevating them into Strategic sales, Consultative outcome base selling, C-level executive connection and access.
  • You will travel 40-50% within an assigned territory.
