We are searching for a Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland to join our Lantmännen Unibake team driving the development of our strong Food Service position in the DACH area.

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving short- and long-term sales performance in the DACH region. You’ll be a member of the management team reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Your primary focus will be to maintain our strong position within the Food Service market in Germany, identifying future growth opportunities across sales channels and product categories, and lead and developing the sales team.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy in aligned with local and global strategic priorities
  • Achieve the sales targets for the area
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing in accordance with required risk models and target margins
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Manage and utilize customer data to enhance relationships and performance
  • Understand customer challenges, preferences, and needs to provide solutions
  • Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats
  • Manage and further develop a sales team with approx. 10 employees
  • Lead and develop the sales team driving a culture of accountability, co-operation, cross functional alignment and high performance cross the entire team
  • Collaborate closely with the global sales team on an international level
