We are proud to announce we have been retained by a leading provider of hydraulic solutions and services who are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Sales Manager to join its team. This role is crucial in managing and growing relationships with the extensive branch network while ensuring customers have a comprehensive understanding of the company’s expanded product range. The company is currently investing heavily in its direct product sales revenue stream, and this role will spearhead that strategic investment.
Key Responsibilities:As the Strategic Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Promoting new product sales throughout the nationwide customer base to deepen understanding of the company’s extensive product offering.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to deliver a multi-channel approach that enhances customer experience.
- Identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts.
- Regularly reporting on account performance and pipeline to senior management.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the full product offering and increasing awareness throughout the branch network.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Technical sales experience, with a focus on engineered products and consumables.
- Ideally, an engineering qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A proven track record of growing revenue and expanding accounts.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
