REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in the steel, metal, or industrial sector.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a sales team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ambitious and results oriented with a history of achieving growth targets.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Develop sales strategy and oversee implementation across three business units operating on one site: Aluminium, Stainless, and Engineering - ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Responsible for developing Sales Enablement Framework to empower and enhance sales team performance.
- Manage a team of 10 direct report Sales Representatives and internal supervisors, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Maintain and nurture high-level accounts, significant presence in the market is critical.
- Drive future growth and expansion of Vulcan, identifying new business opportunities and markets as well as growth of current business.
- Utilise analytical skills to assess market trends, sales performance, and business strategies to refine operations and profitability.
- Effectively communicate Vulcan’s value proposition across internal teams as well as with customers.
- Demonstrate a high level of ambition and drive to achieve and exceed sales targets, setting a strong example for the sales team.
