Summary: KAYALI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Education Director to join our team. You will be at the forefront of our brand, driving sales, and educating customers on our products and brand history across MEASAT. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, and inspire others through education. The ideal candidate will have a knack for building relationships and a love for fragrance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales management, fragrance or beauty industries, SEPHORA preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets and managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Strong collaboration with demand planning and supply chain to ensure that KAYALI achieves its ambitious growth strategy.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on talent development and influence indirect teams.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and experience in developing training programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of time.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand and work within Sephora sales, model, culture and policies to meet and exceed sales goals assigned for the region.
  • Develop and sustain in-depth competitive intelligence and customer insights specific to the MEASAT fragrance market.
  • Drive and achieve ambitious goals: propel the business towards ambitious targets while safeguarding brand equity, ensuring top-tier execution across all initiatives.
  • Provide weekly sales performance/productivity, event activity and any field needs or feedback to the Global President of Commercial.
  • Build exceptional relationships with regional and in-store retail partners.
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing and planning teams to develop forecasts and manage inventory for regular, promotional, and sample products.
  • Collaborate with marketing counterparts to ensure alignment with the global brand strategy, schedule calendar and strategize sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate product launches: forecast quantities for new fragrances and line extensions, managing and coordinating launch execution with sales, creative, trade, and education teams.
  • Manage inventory at store level in accordance with retail partners operational procedures.
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for sales staff and channel partners on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trend.
  • Interview, hire, coach and mange Sales and Event Specialists (freelance) and travel budget to support the territory.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in sales techniques.
  • Ensure that Kayali shelves are visually impeccable and in accordance with the brand’s schematics.
  • Work within company expense budgets, schedule travel per call cycle, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Contribute to the annual budget planning and strategic planning cycle.
