Danfoss Climate Solutions, the leading supplier to the HVAC and Refrigeration industries, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Engineer to drive our business growth in KSA.
As one of the largest segments of Danfoss worldwide, we boast a broad product portfolio, serving customers within refrigeration applications. The position will be based in Jeddah, covering all regions in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a technical background and solid commercial skills,
  • Solid knowledge in commercial refrigeration in the Food Retail segment & heat load calculations, cold room design will be an extra,
  • Knowledge in system management, gateways, pack controllers, communication protocols and monitoring systems for commercial refrigeration is desirable,
  • 5 years or more experience in Food Retail business, dealing with designers, installers, OEM, and end users(e.g., food chains, Super/Hyper markets, hotels),
  • Experience with opportunity management for project sales,
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment dealing with different products type on sale opportunity,
  • Experience with Value Selling and Spin Selling approach,
  • Proficient level of English & Arabic,
  • Proficient in using MS Office and Sales Force (CRM),
  • Ability to travel.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Managing the existing customer portfolio to ensure the highest level of service and create customer loyalty,
  • Supporting end users in the bidding process,
  • Driving business growth by creating a robust and very active mid & long-term pipeline in synergy with the application engineer team,
  • Sharing opportunities with peers on a monthly basis,
  • Providing solutions to end users, promoting product launches and managing product lead times,
  • Ensuring timely analysis and problem solving with the support of Customer Service Center,
  • Creating networking with end users, consultants & refrigeration contractors and key decision makers at all levels as well on market stakeholders to understand market needs and create value selling,
  • Actively following the market trends and project pipeline,
  • Developing new kind of business through product bundling.
