Description:
DO YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Completed higher technical education (HTS) or intermediate technical education (MTS) with at least 3-5 years’ work experience
- Affinity and/or experience with a technical work environment
FURTHERMORE, YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Microsoft Office software; in particular Word, Excel and Teams
- Experience in creating layout drawings, preferably in Solid Works
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English in word and writing is a requirement for this position; a third language is a nice bonus
- Knowledge of machinery, such as vibratory and belt conveyor systems and/or optical inspection equipment is a plus

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
In this position, you have both technical and commercial responsibilities and work closely with the Area Sales Managers. You are very good at translating your technical knowledge of mechanical engineering to both internal and external customers. You function as a spider in the web between different internal departments. You understand the customer’s needs and answer their questions with tailor-made advice.
With your good communication skills and your customer-oriented and solution-oriented approach, you can manage all expectations together with the Area Sales Manager so that the quotation can be converted into an order to everyone’s satisfaction. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you will be given room to further develop your commercial skills in addition to the technical side of the business.
YOUR TASKS:
- Translating the needs of existing and potential customers into technical solutions
- Drawing technical descriptions and possibly drawings of machines and systems for making calculations and offers
- Providing optimal order processing
